Article Abstract
Mollaret's meningitis is a rare form of recurrent aseptic meningitis that is characterized by a polymorphonuclear pleocytosis in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)and the presence of peculiar cells variously called"epithelial"or" endothelial"in the CSF.The etiology of this syndrome has remained obscure since its initial description in 1944.Our recent experience with a" Mollaret's patient"may shed some light on the etiology.
