Article Abstract
Recurrent aseptic meningitis due to spontaneous rupture of an intracranial epidermoid cyst is rare, and a variety of other causes should be considered in the differential diagnosis.Among these,Mollaret's"endothelio- leukocytic"meningitis is of particular interest because of the close similarities between the clinical features and abnormal cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)findings observed in these two diseases. We report a case of epidermoid cyst presenting as aseptic meningitis and present a review of the literature suggesting that these two diseases are the same entity.
