In the clinical setting of ankle edema,headache,proteinuria,and elevated blood pressure,a 33-year-old woman developed a postpartum subarachnoid hemorrhage that was seen on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.Angiography demonstrated diffuse cerebral vasospasm without other underlying pathology.Subarachnoid hemorrhage with vasospasm in pre- eclampsia,not previously documented in the absence of associated systemic or cerebral abnormality,is described. |
