Results reported here,combined with previous clinical and experimental reports,indicate that the risk of memory impairments should be carefully considered in the differential diagnosis of memory loss.Finally,the potential benefit of anti-inflammatory treatment of Alzheimer's disease might be counterbalances by possible iatrogenic memory impairment,at least when synthetic glucocorticoids are considered. |
