Reversible MRI Findings in a Patient with Hashimoto's Encephalopathy Neurol 49:246-247, Bohnen,N.I.L.J.,et al, 1997 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract Diffuse subcortical MRI signal abnormalities were seen during a subacute exacerbation in a patient with Hasimoto's encephalopathy.The patient had an excellent clinical response to corticosteroids.Clinical recovery paralleled normalization of MRI abnormalities and lowering of thyroid microsomal antibody titer.
