Late-Onset Seizures as a Predictor of Subsequent Stroke Lancet 363:1184-1186,1175, Cleary,P.,et al, 2004 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract Our findings show that the onset of seizures in late life is associated with a stroking increase in the risk of stroke. Further research is warranted to assess the benefit of specific interventions to prevent strokes in patients with seizures.
