Article Abstract
The authorsÆ neurology residency program used a case-based curriculum developed by the American Academy of NeurologyÆs Ethics, Law and Humanities Committee to provide a resident education course in ethics. A pretest and post-test were developed and administered. A survey was completed at the end of the course to evaluate resident satisfaction. Post-test scores improved an average of 19% and this increase was significant (p < 0.0004). Residents found the course useful for their education and the time commitment acceptable.
