Does Lamotrigine Use in Pregnancy Increase Orofacial Cleft Risk Relative to Other Malformations? Neurol 71:714-722, Dolk,H.,et al., 2008 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract We find no evidence of a specific increased risk of isolated orofacial clefts elative to other malformations due to lamotrigine (LTG) monotherapy. Our study is not designed to assess whether there is a generalized increased risk of malformations with LTG exposure.
