Article Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of intracranial vessel wall enhancement and its relationship with ischemic infarction in patients with Moyamoya vasculopathy (MMV). Higher-grade enhancement of the intracranial vessel wall is independently associated with acute ischemic infarction in patients with MMV. The characteristics of intracranial vessel wall enhancement may serve as a marker of its stability and provide important insight into ischemic stroke risk factors.
