Article Abstract
Most reported human cases have a history of tick exposure,an acute nonspecific febrile illness, and variable degrees of leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and elevated hepatic transaminase levels.Although most patients report headache, often severe, cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)findings have been reported in only two cases;one patient's CSF was normal and the other patient had an elevated CSF protein. We report a case of human ehrlichiosis associated with CSF pleocytosis.
