Regression of Pituitary Macroadenoma after Pituitary Apoplexy:CT and MR Studies J Comput Assist Tomogr 15:832-834, Armstrong,M.R.,et al, 1991 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract We present a case of a patient with apoplexy due to infarction of a large pituitary macroadenoma.Conservative treatment with steroids resulted in reversal of symptoms and the adenoma involuted.This suggests that medical management may be sufficient therapy in some patients with this complication.
