Article Abstract
IVL may mimic ischemic stroke. IVL is not often diagnosed before death because of the intravascular growth pattern of the tumor cells and a fulminant clinical course. IVL may be considered in the differential diagnosis of ischemic stroke patients with progressive worsening despite medical management.
