Multimodal Imaging Does Not Delay Intravenous Thrombolytic Therapy in Acute Stroke AJNR 32:864-68, Salottolo, K.M.,et al, 2011 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract In our single-center experience, the use of multimodal imaging in patients with acute stroke did not delay IV tPA beyond 60 minutes. Further study is needed to assess the feasibility of the routine use of multimodal imaging in the acute stroke setting.
