Article Abstract
cSAH comprises a significant proportion of SAH. Commonest causes are cerebral amyloid angiopathy in the elderly and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome in the young, but differential diagnosis is broad. Misdiagnosis is common and leads to potentially harmful treatments.
